OnePlus Theme Store could come with Android 12

Perhaps more than any major smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus is rather proud of how it is centered on the community. In fact, there were times when it was the voice of the community that was heard on the own decisions of society, at least in places where both could meet halfway. This happened when oneplus has set the display always requested or AOD to a vote from the community and the company again raises the demand of its users for a theme store that can happen in the next major upgrade for Android and Oxygenos.

Some people like the customization of their phones and Android users often benefit from the amount of open platform. Create themes from scratch, however, is not quite that everyone likes to do and that OnePlus users ask for a hub to share and download such themes more easily. The company finally agreed to add this feature, but it first wishes the new entry of the community.

To this end, OnePlus holds its usual open ear forum, its version of a town hall meeting where it meets with users to solicit comments, as well as the supply and ideas of society. Of course, this year’s OEF will be different from the elders. Like last year’s OEF, this will be online, which means more people will be able to participate in local and in-person events.

OEF “offline” events will still occur but not before OnePlus is 100% safe, it’s for sure. That said, the online event always requires registration and that participants will always be given any of the physical time.

It is still unknown at this point, however, how OnePlus will choose to implement this theme store. The wallpapers are not obvious, of course, but everything else is still in the air, it seems. Oxygen 12, which will come with Android 12, seems to be the perfect opportunity to do that happen, but the big question is that phones will actually get the update and when.
