Walmart onn onon Android TV Near diffusion device ready for launch

In its efforts to compete with Amazon, Walmart started investing in its own mobile equipment and entertainment. Unlike Amazon’s fire devices, however, the Walmart brand has remained directly under Google’s Android Ecosystems, which means having access to Google Play Store and Services. It was true for tablets and it now seems to be true for the first Walmart streaming device. It may not be the HDMI stick we saw before, but will rather be an Android TV box.

Although we expected Walmart to jump on the streaming train, the first device we saw in this direction was an Android television stick that was adopted by the FCC last March. However, this was not the device that suddenly appeared on the Walmart website a few days ago. Instead of a stick, the first Streaming device will be a brand’s Google ADT-3 brand.

The Google’s Adt-3 Developer Android TV kit is over a year, Nondescript and quite boring visually. That’s exactly what the TV Walmart Onn Android has air, save for the name engraved on top. It even has the same positions for the HDMI port and the micro USB feed port on the opposite side, identical to that of Google ADT-3.

The most interesting part of the package is actually the remote completely different and new. Unlike ADT-3, it has a lot more buttons to offer, including those dedicated for Netflix, YouTube, Disney + and HBO max. There is also a button for Google Assistant, of course, but it has been enlarged and transferred to the top.
